Contract for Class Participation

The contract about the class participation comes into effect with the receipt of the confirmation of registration by the organizer Grit Kovacs, 29581 Gerdau, Holthuser Weg 4 (“Organizer” hereinafter) and you. The registration confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail within 10 (ten) days after receipt of the registration.

1. Participation fee:
   Upon payment of the participation fee you are entitled to the following services: Participation in the booked class and admission to the Grit’s Life & Friends Quiltfest 2022 on the day of the class.
2. Payment and due date:
   The class fee is due within 10 (ten) days after receipt of the registration confirmation and is to be paid in cash or by bank transfer to the account IBAN DE54 2585 0110 0230 3989 27 at the Sparkasse Uelzen.
3. Cancellation:
   Cancellation of the class by you is not possible. However, you are allowed to nominate another person to replace your participation.
   If there is a waiting list, the organizer will try to allocate the unused place elsewhere. In this case, 80% of the class fee will be refunded to you after conclusion of the contract and receipt of payment by the substitute participant.
4. Cancellation of class:
   If a class is cancelled by the class instructor or organiser, the class fee paid will be refunded in full. Any other claims on your part are excluded.
5. Liability:
   Liability for damages of any kind, regardless of their legal basis, is limited to cases in which the class instructor or organiser is guilty of intent or gross negligence.

Right of Revocation

You have the right to revoke this contract within 14 (fourteen) days without giving reasons.

The revocation period is 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of your registration. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify the organizer,

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter, fax or e-mail sent by post) of your decision to withdraw from this Agreement.

In order to comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.

Consequences of the Revocation

If you revoke this Agreement, the Organizer will refund to you all payments it has received from you immediately and no later than 14 (fourteen) days after the date on which the Organizer receives notice of your revocation of this Agreement. The Organiser shall use the same means of payment for such refund as you used for the original Transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

Under no circumstances will the Organiser charge you for this refund.
